My aunt gave us a peacock egg to hatch. Once it hatched, we were given three baby birds to raise. They have grown into a beautiful family. We have hand-fed them since birth, so they are quite tame. After one year, the male is starting to grow some tail plumage.

We have one larger flock of about 25 birds; One rooster, 24 girls. We harvest around 12-14 eggs per day.
